About Me……

I aspired to the creative side, after a wonderful 30 year career as an educator.

I live with my my parrot, Ruby and my dog Abby , in Calgary,  Alberta, Canada.

I tangle, sew, garden, volunteer, read, play with clay creations, learn, travel, when possible,  and have tea with family and friends. I am a certified Zentangle teacher, CZT8. I took my certification in 2012 and still teach Zentangle art in the Calgary area.   I am a Neurographica Specialist , 2021 and find it a satisfying art form. In 2022 I started teaching weekly Zentangle classes at Wellspring Alberta. This Canada wide organization supports people living with cancer and their families by providing all kinds of programming free of charge.

I know life changes on a dime

………….and every day is a gift, how did you spend today? 

I believe everyone needs something to help keep focused in this busy age where so many things are pulling for our attention.

Zentangle is my calm spot in life.  Neurographica helps me to think through problems and see the bigger picture involved.   Meditation keeps me authentic.

I seek joy in each day and it is clear when I find it.

  1. Hi, I have started the Google meetup group for just this purpose. Right now the first meeting is an evening but once we get going I can ask who could meet in the day and start a group for then as well. Google Calgary Zentangle meetup and join in. It will then give you the date,time and meet location. Hope to see you there!
