Why would you want to learn the Art of Zentangle?

Oh, so many reasons …… try it , you might love it……..

It is relaxing, it helps reduce anxiety, it calms the mind and lets that creative part of you come alive again. Over time as you learn the patterns, called tangles, they become part of you, you get to know them like you know you know colors. in the world.

Let Zentangle ripple out to the canvas of your life” Rick Roberts

Listen to this great interview by The Reluctant Therapist to hear how this all started and where these little line patterns can go in art and in calming and flow.

January 2024 tangle challenge

Hello fellow tanglers,

I haven’t written for a long while. I hope this finds you peaceful and enjoying life.
I thought I’d draw your attention to a fragment tangle challenge by fellow CZTs, Debbie, Indic, and Nina. They have made beautifully designed handout for you with links that take you to many different websites tangles that will inspire your work as you play with the fragments. Go to the Facebook link or check out the website.
One of my tangles trivolution was chosen for the January 19 date. I deconstructed this tangle in 2013 as I sat in a sunbeam tangling. My room divider was off to the side and thought I’d give it a try as a tangle and one tangle lead to another as I changed up from the original circle center to a triangle, square and oval. Hope you enjoy the challenge and tangle fragments!

Thanks to the CZT’s Debbie, Indic, and Nina who asked to use the tangle and the link to my website. It got me going on changing the look of my site to a new fresh one.
